GIANT DESERT HAIRY SCORPION (Hadrurus Arizonenensis)
This scorpion can be identified by the brownish-tan stripes on the back of its tail. The pedipalps or pinchers are significantly larger than the AZ Bark Scorpion pedipalps. This scorpion is medium sized. The Striped Tail Scorpion again is a predator of insects and therefore management requires control of other insects as well. The venom of this scorpion is not considered to be very dangerous but again allergic reactions can occur.
